Privacy policy

This is a translation provided for convenience. The binding version is the Russian one at marketolog.asia/privacy-policy/: personal data here is processed under the law of the Russian Federation, and in case of any discrepancy the Russian text prevails.

1. General

This policy explains what data the marketolog.asia website collects, why, and what you can do about it. The operator is Pavel Sergeevich Nechaev, registered with the Russian Federal Tax Service as a self-employed professional, tax ID 667350310503. Using the site and submitting its forms means you have read this policy.

2. What is collected

• What you enter yourself: name, the contact you choose to give (phone, email, messenger username or profile link) and the text of your message.
• What is collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed and time on them, anonymous identifiers from analytics counters.

Passport data, payment card numbers and other sensitive categories are not requested or stored.

3. Why

• To reply to your request and discuss the task.
• To send the audit, quotes and working correspondence.
• To prepare a contract and closing documents where the work goes ahead.
• To see how the site is used, in aggregate and anonymously.

Data is not used for any other purpose, and is not sold.

4. Legal basis

Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, and the necessity to perform a contract at your request. Consent is given for the period needed to process the request and to perform the contract.

5. Newsletters

An email address is added to a mailing list only through a separate subscription with its own consent. An address left in a contact form is used to answer that enquiry, not for marketing emails. Every campaign email carries a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

6. Retention

Enquiries are kept for up to three years — the general limitation period — after which they are deleted. Analytics data is retained for the period set by the analytics service. Data is deleted earlier on request.

7. Sharing

Data may be processed by the hosting provider, the email service, the analytics services and the mailing platform, strictly to the extent required to run the site. Data is not transferred to advertisers or data brokers. Disclosure to state authorities occurs only where the law requires it.

8. Cookies and counters

The site uses cookies and analytics counters, including Yandex Metrica, Google Analytics and Top.Mail.Ru. They record anonymous statistics: sources of visits, pages viewed, time on site. Cookies can be disabled in your browser settings; the site will keep working, and the forms with it.

9. Your rights

You may ask what data about you is held, have it corrected, have it deleted, withdraw consent, and object to its processing. Requests are answered within thirty days.

10. Withdrawing consent

Write to pavel@marketolog.asia from the address you used, or to any contact listed on the site. Data is deleted within ten working days, except where the law requires it to be kept.

11. Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Access to enquiries is restricted to the operator. Data is stored in databases located in the Russian Federation, as required by Russian law.

12. Changes

The policy may be updated. The current version is always at this address; material changes are announced on the site.
